ADVANTAGES
Fast Payback
SolarBeam can save you hundreds to thousands of dollars each year. Payback time is an average of 3 to 6 years or less, based on your use and current energy cost.
Extremely efficient
SolarBeam is the most efficient solar space and water heating product of its kind on the market for residential and commercial applications. SolarBeam's efficiencies are due to its unique design characteristics which truly make it stand in a class by itself. SolarBeam's unique features include:
-The collector dish Unlike glazed solar collectors (i.e. flat panels and evacuated tubes) SolarBeam does not deflect and waste solar rays. The highly reflective petals of this dish efficiently cast solar rays onto a relatively small 10"x10" heat exchanger (the larger the heat exchanger surface area the greater the heat losses will be, as with flat panels which are essentially one huge heat exchanger).
-The heat exchanger Our small heat exchanger is infused with a space age heat absorption coating. This coating (NOT PAINT) acts as a trap for heat. With its minimal heat loss it makes a fragile glass enclosure unnecessary.
- Dual axis tracking
SolarBeam's celestial GPS tracking system does not use problematic LED sensors that can easily be fooled by clouds or dust. Instead it uses GPS technology combined with reliable pre-programmed algorithms that precisely track the sun. In fact, it even makes minute compensations for strong wind gusts. SolarBeam's tracking system is not a borrowed communication satellite technology commonly used in other solar products. Those systems typically make large incremental steps thus losing efficiency. SolarBeam does not lose efficiency due to an indirect angle of incidence which causes a diluted pattern of solar energy on stationary or fixed solar equipment. SolarBeam does not suffer from heat stagnation, which is a common and potentially dangerous problem of overheating experienced
by evacuated tubes and flat panels. This condition forces installers/designers to cobble entire systems by undersizing collectors or oversizing storage tanks, greatly reducing the system's efficiency. SolarBeam on the other hand simply goes to a rest position, if no more heat needs to be harvested, even in the case of a power outage.
Snow slides off at day-break even in sub zero temperatures. This prevents SolarBeam's efficient design from being hindered by snow or ice collection even in the harshest conditions.
All these combined design differences make SolarBeam, hands down, the most efficient solar hot water and space heating unit on the market. Still not convinced? Come and see for yourself. Call today to arrange for a visit.
Reduce dependence on fossil fuels
Reducing our dependence on fossil fuels is wise both economically and ecologically. By employing SolarBeam in a commercial or residential application you would essentially be locking down your current energy cost, thus being minimally affected by the threat, or guarantee, of future price increases. Conversely, after your return on investment period, SolarBeam puts money in your pocket. Money that you would otherwise have to spend on rising energy costs. It is, without a doubt, one of the surest investments you can make - as sure as the sun will rise.
Reliability
SolarBeam is reliable. It has been tested in the most extreme, real world, weather conditions. SolarBeam is built to withstand over 144 km per hour sustained winds (or more with an available modified base if needed). Its base is built of strong steel components and held together with 308 or stronger stainless steel fasteners. The dish petals are made of tough glass infused, anodized aluminum. High quality materials, such as Gates® silicone hoses, US built actuators and drive components that can bust through the thickest of ice build up. Electronics include an industrial PLC or computation device built to last for decades. These are only a few of the unique features built into this amazing product.
